  • PCM School Special Election: February 15, 2022
    • Marion County voters who live in the PCM Community School District may vote to fill a vacancy for school board member director district four. The Otley Reformed Church, located at 700 Johnson Street in Otley, is the only applicable voting location for Marion County voters who live in the PCM School District. Polling place hours are from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

 

  • Primary Election: June 7, 2022
    • The Primary Election is a candidate nomination process for political parties to select their candidate for appearance on the General Election ballot in November. Held every June in even numbered years, it is the only election where no one is actually elected. All countywide polling locations are utilized for this election. 
    • Candidate Filing Period: March 7 - March 25.
    • The Marion County Auditor's Office is the filing officer for the positions listed below.  
      • County Board of Supervisors
      • County Attorney
      • County Treasurer
      • County Recorder
      • Any vacant county offices

 

  • General Election: November 8, 2022
    • The General Election is the most prominent election conducted by the Auditor's Office as it has the largest turn out of all elections. This election is held in even numbered years, to elect federal, state, county and township officials and other officials as provided by law. It is also held to vote on statewide and county public measures and constitutional amendments. All countywide polling locations are utilized for this election. 
    • Candidate Filing Period: March 7 - March 25.
    • The Marion County Auditor's Office is the filing officer for the positions listed below.
      • Partisan County Offices
      • Township Offices
    • Candidate Filing Period: By August 31, 2022
      • County Agricultural Extension Council
      • Soil & Water Conservation District Commissioner
