Picnic areas with playground equipment, flush restrooms, and picnic shelters are available for daily usage. A basketball court, baseball, and softball fields are also located in the park. The Marion County Historical Society maintains a historical village at the park, complete with a log cabin, museum, country schoolhouse, church, general store, and stagecoach inn; that are open for display on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Additionally, the park has a diverse array of scenic backdrops; including, a fishing pier, covered bridge, historical buildings, and natural foliage settings that are utilized by photographers for inspirational, family, and senior class pictures.
