• School Candidates – School Secretaries are filing officer

• First day Auditor can receive Absentee Ballot Requests:
  • Mailed Absentee Ballots no longer allowed - In-Person Only effective 7.2.2024
• First day to Absentee Vote at Marion County Auditor's Office 214 E Main St Knoxville, IA
  • Wednesday, June 26, 2024 (assuming ballots are prepared)
  • Office Hours: M-F - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Closed on 7/4/24
  • Please note ID required to participate.
• First day the Auditor's Office can mail absentee ballots to voters who have submitted requests.

• Voter Pre-Registration Deadline   
  • Monday, July 1, 2024
  • Office Hours July 1, 2024 - 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

  • Polling Hours 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (ID required to participate)
  • Absentee Ballot return – In Person - deadline 7/16/24, 8:00 p.m. at the Marion County Auditor's Office, 214 E Main, Knoxville Iowa.
