40th Ave. Reconstruction

40th Ave. north of Pleasantville will be reconstructed beginning October 7th, 2021.  This work is anticipated to take four weeks to complete.  The contractor will be begin with a simple overlay between the railroad tracks and house 620 40th.  Then will completely remove and replace the pavement north of house 620 to the intersection of Erbe St. At times, there may be intermittent closures of the intersection of 40th and Erbe, as it will be paved also as part of this project.  The contractor will then finish with surface lifts on the entire segment and wrap up with shouldering and pavement markings.  Outside of the closure on the north end, for which a signed detour will be in place, all traffic will be maintain as a lane closure with pilot car.  Use the link for additional information https://www.iceasb.org/roads/county/marion/56548 .
