DNR Free Fishing Weekend

DNR free fishing weekend June 4-6

Have you ever wanted to try fishing or would like to take a friend or family member along with you?  You are in luck!  DNR will be hosting a free fishing weekend June 4, 5, 6.   No fishing license needed, all other regulations will be in place.  DNR has many stocked ponds and lakes, find them at http://www.iowadnr.gov/fishing/fish-local.  Helpful hints for kids fishing and catching crappie and bluegill at http://iowadnr.gov/fishing/ready-to-fish. Free hands-on fishing events for kids will be offered and the list can be found on the general fishing calendar at http://iowadnr.gov/fishing.
