Notice of Election Primary 2022
NOTICE OF ELECTION
Notice is hereby given of the 2022 Regular Primary Election in and for Marion County, Iowa, to be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at which time the qualified electors of Marion County, will vote for, or against, candidates for Federal, State, and County offices. The polls will open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M.
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP VOTERS ONLY. As a result of the required redistricting process, we have changed your polling place to the Melcher-Dallas Community Center located at 112 N Main St, in Melcher-Dallas. Moving forward, all Franklin Township voters will vote at the Melcher-Dallas Community Center for all applicable elections.
POLLING PLACES FOR THE 2022 PRIMARY ELECTION. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Marion County temporarily consolidated polling locations for the 2020 Primary Election. For the June 7, 2022, Marion County 2022 Primary Election we will utilize all seventeen regular voting locations.

VOTER IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION
Pre-registered voters are required to provide an approved form of identification at the polling place before receiving and casting a regular ballot. Voters who are not pre-registered – such as voters registering to vote on election day – and voters changing precincts must also provide proof of residence. A voter who is unable to provide an approved form of identification (or prove residence if required) 1) may have the voter’s identity/residence attested to by another registered voter in the precinct, 2) prove identity and residence using Election Day Registration documents, or 3) cast a provisional ballot and provide proof of identity/residence at the county auditor’s office by Monday, June 13, 2022 at 12:00 pm (Noon). Election Day Registrant attesters must provide an approved form of identification.
