Ragbrai 2024

Marion County has set forth guidelines to allow citizens to operate activities associated with Ragbrai as allowed by the Marion County Zoning Ordinance Temporary Enterprises during the specified times from July 24, 2024, at 12:00a.m. to 11:59p.m. on July 25, 2024.

All property owners and/or citizens are responsible to apply the specified guidelines pertaining to County and State Road Right of Way.

Citizens and/or property owners are responsible to obtain any required County or State licenses/inspections/permits applicable.

Citizens and/or property owners must comply with Environmental Health regulations pertaining to potable water, restroom requirements and solid waste removal.

Marion County officials designed this resolution to allow citizens and/or property owners to participate with the Ragbrai festivities. Please follow the guidelines and keep Marion County safe and orderly.

Any violations may be reported to the Marion County dispatch non emergent line and the proper department will be notified to follow up on potential violations.
