Public Information

The Public Information Office (PIO) provides information about the County to the public and interested parties through press releases, publications about County services, and through the media. The PIO works closely with employee personnel and the news media to present accurate information to the citizens of Marion County.

Mission Statement

Our mission as County Public Information Officer is to effectively communicate accurate, timely, and transparent information to the public and media. We strive to enhance public understanding and awareness of county government services, initiatives, and policies while fostering trust and engagement with our diverse communities. Through proactive communication strategies and responsive media relations, we aim to uphold transparency, promote civic participation, and ensure the dissemination of essential information to empower residents and stakeholders in making informed decisions and enhancing the quality of life in our county.
